Yooo! It’s Charlie,
2 months ago I made my first dollar online.
I did it with my first-ever Notion Template, the Skill Builder OS.
I remember I spent weeks building the free version of the template first...
And then made some really cool upgrades that made me think about doing a paid version.
I remember when I got started on this journey like it was yesterday.
I felt happy and excited to be building on a platform that I really love and have been using for over 5 years.
At the time, I had already been creating content, and growing on Twitter...
But to be honest, my template didn't sell a single copy for weeks.
I had been building it for weeks...
Staying up all night and making it as good as it could be.
At times it felt like it wasn't going to happen, but I knew, deep inside that the product was good.

I could see it in my mind, but most importantly, I always tried to feel it.
Feel as if it happened, feel the joy, the rush, the pride, and the spark to create more unique and useful products.
And sure enough, it happened.

At first I was frozen...
I couldn't believe I had made my first-ever sale. The feeling is like nothing else.
Then, a rush of joy filled my body and I just couldn't stay seated. I was punching the air, feeling happy and super excited. I even screamed into a pillow.
It was just pure joy, to be honest. Getting that email definitely made my day.
There's a new wave of trust in yourself when you make your first sale...
I don't know how to explain it.
We all have thoughts of doubt and fear during the day...
But having made that sale really showed me what I could do and that started a wave of more work, more focus, more hard work. I want to create products that help people do more of what matters and less of what doesn't.
And in that moment, I knew I had helped 1 person.
Over the next 2 months, I made over $400 dollars...
It's not much compared to what others are making out there...
But for me?
It was proof that what I made was helping others... and that's priceless.
But to be honest, I think this is all happening because of one reason and one reason only...
This all goes back to my hunger to learn more skills, to get jobs that would give me the skills I needed for that moment, and for being strict with myself to learn many skills throughout the year...
From making music and editing videos to 3D models and coding. Whenever I get interested in something, I learn as much as I can about it... I just get obsessed.
But It's not only the skills you learn...
It's how you learn, and the system you use.
Because how fast you learn depends a lot on your systems.
You can watch all the YouTube videos and courses you want while lying on the couch with the laptop on your chest. But you won't remember 90% of what you watched a few days from now.
We've all been there.
